Dr. Wael architectural concept focuses on the components or elements of a structure or system and unifies them into a coherent and functional whole, according to a particular approach in achieving specific site, functional, and aesthetical objectives under the given constraints or limitations.
His designs can be both an art and a science, a process and a result, and both an idea and a reality. Clients often see his buildings express the words "Beauty" and "Function" interchangeably, which naturally broadens the simple meaning of architecture. It seems there are many ways to define his “less and more” style.
The urban design philosophy in our vision is about making connections between people and places, movement and urban form, nature and the built fabric. Urban design draws together the many strands of place-making, environmental stewardship, social equity and economic viability into the creation of places with distinct beauty and identity. Urban design draws these and other strands together creating a vision for an area and then deploying the resources and skills needed to bring the vision to life. It deals primarily with the design and management of public spaces. Some aspects of privately owned spaces, such as building facades or domestic gardens.

Projects & Designs
All the following projects are architecturally designed, sustainable criteria created and 3D modeled by Dr. Wael himself. He always prefers to produce the initially 2D plans himself using CAAD or BIM tools. Besides for all projects, an energy model is created by his team to enhance building performance and push the project forward toward passive design.
First Prize Competitions
Dr. Wael finds inspiration from the competition context. He believes that Successful projects overcame instinct and impulse, and challenged paradigms of liberty and free speech through architectural media of space, material, and form. Every winning design shows preference to projects demonstrating distinct characteristics including the establishment of a clear conceptual, architectural position concerning a social ideal; engagement with the public as both individual and collective; clarity of circulation, sequence, and narrative; and reconciliation between the abstract and theoretical with the physical and real.

Wael Aboneama is an Egyptian architect. He was born on October 15, 1974. He is a professor in Architecture and Urban Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and Faculty of Engineering at King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia. His trademark style can be seen widely in Egypt, Greece, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries.
Wael Aboneama in the academic field is a professor in Architecture and Urban Design (Environmental Design & Sustainable Development). He published more than 20 scientific papers, half of which are Web of Science indexing. He holds an MBA degree in project management. In the practical field, he designs the building starting from the first sketches to the BIM model including all disciplines coordination, based on sustainable criteria. Also, project & construction management besides the project supervision.

Architecture design is more than just good aesthetics. The buildings have spirits just like a human. If you wanna know one of them, it is the way you be one of their users. Some buildings are beautiful by themselves, but you can’t truly appreciate their design until you start using them. It’s only then that you experience all the subtle touches, all the things visible and invisible that make great design.
