Urban Design - Mustaqbal city (Future city), New Cairo, Egypt, 2012
Mustaqbal city is a new city established in New Cairo, to expand the urban space and revive investment in the new areas. The city occupies a large area of approximately 11,000 acres, and green roads and areas account for 50% of the total area. The city is divided into two main sectors: U and T, and two sub-sectors. The Mustaqbal city is located in kilo 35 on the (Egypt - Ismailia Desert) road, 3 kilometers from the city of sunrise, 5 kilometers from the transit market, and in front of Ahmed Orabi Association for Land Reclamation. The geographical location of the city is a link between New Cairo and other modern city projects in north-eastern Cairo, such as the city of Sunrise and my city. Dr. Sahar Ismail produced the final urban design illustrated in the following figures and Dr. Wael Aboneama was responsible for all residential buildings, sales centers ...etc. Mustaqbal city is characterized by the availability of services and facilities; Which helps in the ease of living in the city. It has its buses to move inside, and external transportation is available to and from it, as there is a bus to transport residents from the city to the Hijaz Square and back every hour; It is just 20 minutes away from Heliopolis. It is characterized by the availability of security on its main gates, as well as on the gates of residential buildings. It is characterized by its green areas, calmness, and away from the hustle and bustle. Buildings of the city of the future are known for not exceeding six floors.
