This luxury Swiss-Inn hotel room embraces a minimalist aesthetic that evokes a profound sense of tranquility through restraint and simplicity in its design. The modest rectangular space features an amply-sized window wall that seamlessly blurs the boundary between inside and out. Sheer drapery panels frame the floor-to-ceiling glazing while allowing ample natural light to permeate the interior. A low upholstered platform bed anchored by twin floating nightstands is strategically positioned to capitalize on the view onto the private terrace and gardens beyond. Crisp white linens with subtly varied textures compose the bedding in solid tones devoid of patterns. The only adornment is a single streamlined accent pillow in a soft organic shade. Underfoot, wide-plank oak flooring in a pale driftwood finish extends throughout, lending a grounding warmth and flow to the space. Integrated into one wall is a minimalist oak shelving unit designed for discreet housing of a flat screen TV with concealed cord management. The bathroom continues the neutral color story while celebrating materiality through its blend of honed White Fantasy marble walls juxtaposed against a concrete double vanity with side-by-side ovoid vessel sinks. The oversized walk-in shower features both handheld and rain-head fixtures behind a frameless glass enclosure. Furnishings are intentionally limited - a sculptural Paulistano chair in saddle leather and a solid oak bench at the foot of the bed. Discreet recessed lighting with multiple dimming zones allows for nurturing ambiance. Throughout, there is a deliberate avoidance of excessive accessorizing or ornamentation, enabling the simple forms, textures and muted color palette to cultivate an undisturbed calm. In this serene hotel room, every element has been edited to create a nurturing sanctuary that embraces the tenets of simplicity, nature and relaxation. This design was created by archtiect\ Reem Hisham Hassan
