Throughout Wael Aboneama work in Greece, he shared in the architecture design of several supermarkets mainly AB Vasilopolous, in Greece through A+D office in Athens. He was working with architect Klearkhos Maleas & architect Tolis in A+D office. Dr. Aboneama task was focused on design the building envelop and its masses and provide many alternatives for the client. AB is one of the biggest brands of hypermarkets in Greece. AB Vasilopoulos, Vrilissia at northern Athens is one of the branches that the task of Dr. Wael was the facade design. He proposed six different alternatives, and the client chose the first one. The design has been an important part of overall architectural and engineering design services provided on an international scale. Wael Aboneama was part of A+D design team. The team has assisted warehouse, and full-service grocery providers with design development, site analysis, and due diligence for both ground-up and a major supermarket development.
